We headed to Phnom Penh(PP) after spending 2 nights at Siem Reap(SR). We had a hard time finding budget accomodation after reaching because we refused to give in to the touts right after the bus reach PP. We underestimated the size of PP. We thought PP is as small as SR and thus, walking to get around is alright but we were wrong. The walk was tough with the hot weather as well as the irritating motodup touts around. The map we held was out-dated too which made our sense of direction a very big mess. we finally gave in and took motodup there to a street we wanted to head to instead after 2 hours of walking with backpack and under our mr dear hot sun. This was the most tedious search for budget accomodation in my life ever. i learnt more about myself after this search. BTW, I mean 5USD per night for a fan twin bed room. I wondered very much why i am doing all these shit to myself at times when i actully have these money to spare. hur. i guess this must be a love-hate relationship thingy. i love-and-hate myself!
